The 3rd semi-annual tree cam is now active through the holidays. Take a peek inside for all the details.

Before I forget, I hope you are having a: Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Jolly Solstice, Super Kwanzaa, an Ebullient Las Posadas, or a Rockin' Eid-al-Adha. Did I forget anyone?

The tree cam is up and ready... so, stop in and see what's going on. This year, there are several different flavors to pick from. The images and video streams are live, so you may see us, cats, or the occasional Roomba. At the very least, you will most likely see a tree, possibly with blinking lights.

This year, the treecam hardware has been upgraded to a wireless webcam. It is essentially a little standalone computer. It connects to our wireless router, and makes it much easier than previous years, where there would be a computer and the camera sitting in the corner.

Okay, enough details. On with the links. Each one will open in a popup window.

First off, we have a static image updating every 30 seconds. This is good for dial-up connections, obscure web browsers, or if you can't get the other links to work.

Want streaming? Here's a Java-based streaming video. It should play well with modern browsers like Internet Explorer, Firefox, Netscape, and Opera--- provided that you have Java installed.

And here's another streaming version, that is Internet Explorer only. You will just need to install the ActiveX thingie that pops up when you open the link the first time.
