Comments: I miss the music
And I am happy to report we have fireflies in my neighborhood!!! Not as many as I remember from when I was a kid (no age jokes, please) but I still see a few every spring!

Oh, just you wait, girlie! In around late July/early August, the noise will return! We don't get the 17-year variety, but here there is an annual version!
When I was a kid we used to knock the abandoned cicada shells off the patio beams and SMOOSH them with our bare feet . . . ick!
