I knew there was a touch of (w)eeeeevil in you Nanc! (Both for the poor fireflies and for making me think of Silk Garden in the "dirty" way.)
I guess it's better my trying to "train" crickets to stay very still and not move - I'd put them into the shirt compartment/lifty seat thing in my dad's old dressing chair (I only later found out they were so obedient because they were dead.) Although firefly squish green (for lack of better wording) is a lot prettier than cricket squish brown.
Is #50 the same colorway you used for your purty purty wristies?
I'm divorcing my DPNs for a while - am spending too much time with the rockin magic loop and it just isn't fair to keep the Brittany's hanging on. I also found instructions on how to knit two socks on one circular at the same time - it's a genius concept although I haven't tried it yet.

NanC when o when are you going to knit some socks on a long circ or two circs? Everyone has the feva. I'll even help you. No I was not promted to write this after reading any comments on any blog on the known internet. :-) I haven't seen you in weeks you we need more together knitting cycles before I get shipped out to timbuktu!
