Heeheehee, I dragged you into the sock obsession! Lalalalala . . .
Posted by chris at March 8, 2005 11:35 AMThat sure is a purty sock, Nan-C (Hums "Dueling Banjos.") I'm sorry you're gonna have to rip back several rows, though. That socks! (OK, that was so bad, I probably shouldn't have attached my name to this comment.) Will you forgive me? ;)

Posted by Aubyn at March 8, 2005 12:35 PMThat my dear is why this is the YEAR of the Guage swatch! Want me to tell you how many times I have screwed something up because of guage? EEERRRRR!!! I shudder just thinking about it! HA! BEE-U-ti-full sock!
I'm willing to admit I have big feet, I'm sure the sock will fit me!!
Posted by Pamelalala at March 9, 2005 10:09 AMGo Girl! I've now made a pair of socks using double points, and one pair using the two circs method. I want to try the Magic Loop next. Once you've made sock(s) - anything is possible!

Yay Nanc! The sock is beautiful (despite its non-fittedness). So glad you've joined SA - that's sockknitters anonymous, but without all the religion - it really is addicting, but oh so fun:)
Posted by Lara at March 8, 2005 11:33 AMCannot wait to see how the flames knit up - I had had my eye on that colorway but wanted to see how it looks knitted. Are you going to use the traditional sock pattern or are you going to try something different? And remember, you still have the gift certificate for toe grafting from Aubyn - and she would be more than happy to do it (since she is one of the only people on earth that enjoys grafting - we love her anyway.)
