Comments: Does this 2nd place ribbon make me look fat?

Wow! Second Place is fabulous! Hey, the Texas State Fair is big! That means your socks are really great! I've been trying to talk my family into making the Fair this year - but I may have to go alone. My oldest told me in no uncertain terms that she had no intention of going into another Fiber Barn with me again. When I grew up in Dallas, we would get out of school for a day each year and they gave us all a free ticket. Love the state fair! Congratulations!

YEEEHAAAA! Congratulations! You must be thrilled. I'm thrilled! (If it wasn't so danged early and I had more coffee, I'd be jumping up and down and twirling around the kitchen).

Awesome! You ARE a knitting goddess! (And didn't you feel good when the Yarn Harlot admitted she hasn't finished her Potowhatis socks, and you're on your umpteenth pair)

Woo hoo and a kaching! (That was the cymbol at the end of the drumroll. But then you knew that.) It's a shame you can't see ribbon pinned to your socks under your pant leg. I hope you at least got two- one for each sock.

Hey, Nance, thanks for the comment! I'm actually planning on heading in to the fair next weekend, so hopefully I'll get to see the socks! Gotta have at least one turkey leg, though and ride on the Ferris Wheel! :=). Sock Wars continues, and I'm not dead yet!!!
